Beware of the "thirteenth steppers" who add vulnerable newcomers to their scores. But whether we avoid being a victim or not, we do not let what happens drive us back to drugs. If we only halfheartedly want to quit, or only want to stop using for awhile, the Steps become impossible. A. Until we learn how to do the Steps it is a good idea to try not to get too frantic over anything.
